Using the Camellia as both muse and motif, Y’s has designed a holiday package with haut couture elegance. Silk has been used on the palette just like it is used in Y’s clothes, and it has been specially printed in Kyoto.
The creative inspiration
The Camellia flower is always beautiful…
At the moment when it blossoms with greatest energy, and even at the moment when it dies. It does not die away by losing its petales like other flowers, but instead ends its life in its full blossom and form. By depicting this beautiful camellia, filled with dignity and vitality until the end of its life, I have related the camellia’s most beautiful moments to those women.
Y's was established in 1972 by Yohji Yamamoto. Yamamoto debuted in Paris Fashion Week in 1981 with Yohji Yamamoto line. Was called a “black shock” and created a huge sensation.
Get The LookColor creation by art director Dick Page fills the palette with six fresh, camellia-inspired hues that give great color-payoff, for a variety of makeup looks.
Apply the colors as both eyeshadow and face.
Floral Radiance is a monochrome composition of elegant pinks and purples. Both eyes and lips are richly coloured and the cheeks have a subtle glow.
